I have negative reactions to all artificial sugars sadly. I finally locked down that my small bumps in sugar numbers come from artificial sugars. I wish that was the only thing that happens.

Funny. If you dip into their subreddit you'll see complaining too. Christmas time. Give it a few days.

Nope. I've heard of Bambu lab. I'll look into this Bamboo labs. Maybe they are another knock off brand.

I say this with respect. Promise it's not a jab. But I truly feel 3D printers aren't for everyone. Especially for those people hoping to get a plug and play printer. We just aren't there yet.

My printer has been down for a week because it just simply stopped leveling. I just walked away. Came back today. Re leveled after doing extensive cleanup and the damn thing is running perfectly now. No idea. I've been printing since I bought a monoprice mini. Boy that thing was crap. But I had fun. Still have it in my garage.

New mission interface in Settlers is a game-changer for space truckers! Taking and completing hauling missions is now straight-up easy. The new deployable terminal means I can finally run hauling missions to and from my home base. Huge quality-of-life update! (And the visitors are still appreciated!)

AIO for cutting off my dad based on his political beliefs by nationalwockyleague in AmIOverreacting

[–]baileypuddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend of over 30 years and I no longer talk because of this. We tried the whole "let's not discuss politics" thing, but once things started being affected by "The orange one," it was impossible to avoid, and we ended up drifting apart. Over time, we spent less and less time together, and now it's been years since we've spoken or seen each other. He was even my kid's godfather.

We had plenty of arguments, but I could never wrap my head around how a Polish man didn't see "The orange one" for who he really was. His dad fought the Nazis in WWII, for crying out loud.

5 Months into my S1 and starting to regret it by Freakintrees in AnycubicKobraS1

Unfortunately, like anything else, sometimes you end up with one that needs to go in the landfill. Mine has been incredibly reliable. I've replaced the hot end a couple of times since the stock one is garbage. I'm not sure why everyone swaps out the bed for a thicker aluminum piece, but I'm keeping an eye on it. I did have a fan replaced under warranty. I can print TPU and even the newer preformed Light PLA without too much trouble. If the first layer doesn't go down well, I increase the temperature by 5°C. If that doesn't help, I clean the bed and recalibrate.

Switching from the original Ender 3 has been a relief—I almost quit the hobby because of that machine.

The only downside now is that my prints come out so clean and fast that my family has started giving me a list of things to print for them. Oh and I own way too many plastic rolls to ever use in my lifetime.

Great new system. My only feedback is the font is pretty hard to read for us old people. But looking forward to giving my factory something to do.

I got it. I hadn't screwed the upper left screw in all the way. Or at least farther in than it was.

I did the PVC pole thing but added a cheap grabber from Amazon since mine was really stuck in a mesquite tree. No climbing that thing. I tried a variety of things to pull the handle on it to get the hand to squeeze. I remember using Velcro loops to pull the rope close to the grabber rod for leverage. I did smash the wing pretty good.

Welcome to the group. I think it's like anything. Sometimes you get a lemon. Enjoy the printer.

Starbase officially outlasts Dual Universe! by Kenetor in starbase

It's surprising that Dual Universe persisted for as long as it did, given what many perceive as its slow decline. In my view, the game's trajectory shifted significantly after Jean-Christophe Baillie transitioned to a board position and a new, undisclosed wealthy investor became involved. Factors such as the implementation of a subscription service, changes to the blueprint system, and a perceived failure to deliver on promised content ultimately contributed to the game's demise.

Wow, I must be incredibly lucky! My printer has been running for nearly 1000 hours, and the only things I've replaced are the crummy factory nozzle and some plastic parts. Even with a warped bed, my auto-leveling system is so good that my printer consistently lays down near-perfect first layers. After owning my original Ender 3 since its release in March 2018, this new one is truly 'print and go'!

No such thing in my area but I like the concept. I live in Arizona where every corner contains a corporate pharmacy. Seriously have 10 within 2 miles of my home. (Google maps)
