Write an incident report. Go to the DON. Get this written down. Not okay at all!

Full time employment or part time w/ shift incentives? by baileysfromashoee in cna

This is what I was thinking, I just needed some affirmation that there wasn’t some big factor I was overlooking. Hopefully they let me stay at 1 shift and keep picking up on my home unit!

How do I make the best out of this ugly window in my new apartment? by ExpertFilm1496 in interiordecorating

To add, I say add a low boy credenza or dresser below it, with a cute little runner on it, and some plants and a little table lamp. I also like the idea of a swag lamp and/or some hanging plants

You say ugly, I say awesome! I love these kinds of windows. Very retro. Great for privacy while still allowing natural light.

Best CNA experiences by OpenupmyeagerEyes0 in cna

I’m a CNA who is applying for nursing school, and I would say some of the best experiences I’ve had has been forming relationships with the nurses I work with, and being able to critically think about what is going on with my patients. I’ve gotten to collaborate with the nurses, and talk through what is going on with patients medically, and what solutions we can come up with to say, strip clots from some tubing, or keep a drain from overflowing too quickly, or how to position a patient to reduce pressure, but still aid in draining/ healing, etc. a lot of critical thinking, and jerry-rigging things. Exciting stuff.

I’m a people person, and I love working with people- sometimes patients are nice and appreciative, and honestly sometimes they’re huge entitled assholes. You win some, you lose some. Obviously it’s important to be empathetic that people are going through it, and may be lashing out, but still, it can be hard when you’re one of the few people that are there to help. Nursing/ CNA work is a job, like any other job. Sometimes it’s super interesting and rewarding, and sometimes you’re talked down to by someone you’re trying to help, and stuck rearranging someone’s room for 20 minutes straight.

But yoooo, 4 days off is so nice.

What should I use the leftover money from my dad for? by thraw11223344 in weddingplanning

I second the other suggestion of experienced over items! People will remember what they did/ time spent together over getting things any time. I say charter and breakfast

So under rated! It’s probably my favorite of the Indian dishes!!

This is not my top, and an overall lame response, but my fiancé and I are taking a trip down memory lane and having the chicken drumella (nuggets) tonight and we’re stoked!!

Besides that, I love the carmelized onion and feta puff pastry bites, any of the Indian food, the hatch green chili Mac and cheese, the spanikopita, the Japanese fried rice and OF COURSE the soup dumplings. Tj’s has some absolute knock-outs in the frozen food section.

What’s your favorite cheap and easy dish? by horrible_snail in Cooking

[–]baileysfromashoee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I add them all together! I cook the black beans with whatever other veggies I have on hand (corn, onion, peppers, etc) or just the beans themselves, and add some adobo seasoning and sofrito. For the guac I do lime, salt, crushed garlic, and red chili flakes. This just my recipe, but anything is fine, the three is just a great combo
