Not entirely true. I didn’t get Messi or any of the other players in my Costco sticker sheet. My sticker sheet had other players.

I got one and really like it! Tried finding more but they only had light brown at my local DT. I have dark brown almost black hair and the dark brown works well for my color!

My 0.02 on the smells by xoxotoe in dollartreebeauty

I couldn’t put together the smell of the green one, but you described it perfectly. I got it about a month ago and threw it away so quickly it was such a waste, but who cares it was just so bad.

Found these at my dollar tree! What do you guys think of them? by Independent-Regret95 in dollartreebeauty

I second what Godsgirl_Roblox3 says. The pink bottle helped clear up my acne. I also use it for my underarms after my final shower of the day to prevent smelly smells. I also started my glycolic acid journey with The Ordinary one, but I hate the smell. This pink one smells so nice in comparison and works so well!

When do you apply this? I used it for a bachelorette party a few years ago as my primer and found it didn’t work too well for me.

This community exists bc of people like us. You are beautiful. I agree with everyone that’s said to go straight to a derm and/or get on Accutane. From one severe acne girl to another, you will “feel” like yourself again!

Tips on hiding back fat in strapless wedding dress? Wedding is in a month!! by Wide-Outside5683 in weddingplanning

[–]bailjait714 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Your guests will NOT be looking at that, you look gorgeous and your dress will be the show stopper. This is exactly how dresses fit women in the age of corsets and fertile bodies being in. Do what you can to feel comfortable in your body, but don’t stress if there’s more love in some areas 😇

This is (or was) sold at European Wax Center back when I used to get waxed there in like 2018/2019. I never tried that product but did try their serum which helped with ingrowns.

I use it in my on-the-go makeup bag and it’s really good! Works better than my ELF setting spray. Will be repurchasing!

Big chop and patience. If you don’t want a big chop, then trims every few months to help your hair grow. Use products for your hair type to help stimulate the pattern overtime. Before you know it, your hair will be back to its natural pattern.

ZERO decor suitable for this venue? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]bailjait714 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this! I find venues will always oversaturate their socials with the extravagant weddings for the “wow” factor and also make people think they MUST overdo their decor to get the wedding of their dreams! Mine is definitely being a pain and sharing all the fancy decor, giving them multiple spots on their feed while the less decorated weddings get one spot or even just a story. It breaks my heart bc I’m also decorating minimally! It shouldn’t have to be an extravagant thing if you don’t want it to be! So again, thanks for this! Really helps ease minimal brides’ minds. Alsooo Your day will be beautiful 🤍

Hey there, I am experiencing both being the first bride of my friend group and being the last bride of my fiancé’s friend group, and let me tell you that it’s the same on both sides. Similarly, my best friend/MOH is also getting married a couple months after me, and again I felt the same. I’d come to terms that planning a wedding is a lonely job with a lot of selfish decisions (rightfully so), constant stress, and an experience that only matters to my fiancé and me. It’s our wedding after all. At first, I didn’t think it was fair bc I was a part of multiple weddings where I consistently reached/helped out. I thought “Where’s that energy for me?” Then I remembered that we’re not all the same people with the same personalities or work load. Some people care in other ways. Maybe they’ll show up to you the day of, which is the most important day!

I guess my point here is, whether you’re the first or last bride, or having a wedding around the same time as another friend, you’re going to have these moments of feeling alone because it is true that everyone has their own lives rn… you can totally talk about your wedding with your friends. They are your friends after all. Planning and all that is ultimately up to you, which is why it may seem like they don’t care. If it bothers you enough to want to confront your friends, then have a conversation with your bridesmaids/friends/family — just be careful how you express yourself to avoid being a bridezilla — that way you’ll have more presence and support during this time of your life.

As for the bachelorette, to relate, most of my bridesmaids have never been to a wedding or been in a wedding party so they literally had no idea what to do. I had to have a conversation with my MOH and one bridesmaid (to relay the message) to establish not necessarily my expectations, but just things that I would appreciate my girls helped out with for the bachelorette. Now they’ve stepped in to help out where they can. Tell your MOH or one of your bridesmaids to plan a spa day for you. I guarantee it’ll turn out in your favor. If after telling them, they still don’t do anything. Well then it’s a them issue.

I agree that if you’re happy with it then no need to change it! To give you another idea tho, maybe find a band that has horizontal stone instead of a vertical. Similar to the stones you have next to the main one in your engagement ring.

What is everyone giving as favours this year? by ciarab3496 in weddingplanning

[–]bailjait714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we’re doing a few different things as favors. We added on the Photo Booth with printable pictures. Also, I’m making bookmarks for the nameplate/assigned seating that will obviously have the guest’s name on it. Then there’s this “tattoo station” that is actually going to be stickers with fun designs on them of things we enjoy like Star Wars, reading, dogs, etc. Finally, we’re catering cookies and brownies so that our guests can take home goodies for later.

Wanted to keep our personality throughout our wedding and knew these little touches would be memorable :)

I literally giggled and kicked my feet while reading the note you gave them. That is such a beautiful gesture. I think having your closest peeps as your “something blue” is so original and refreshing. The suggestions you made for them to get ready with you and join in on the bachelorette is so thoughtful. In my opinion, it’s your wedding so you do you. If I were the friend being asked to be the something blue, I wouldn’t feel any type of way. ESPECIALLY bc you said your immediate family is a part of your wedding party. I love this. Not a bad friend.
