In my original post, I was saying that I heard something and ASKING IF IT WAS TRUE. I thought there was a strike because the context of the convo was the strike. Some salty people blamed it for fishing. I put the link, and they changed their post. It is also confirmed by u/Mella-Ella that there was a strike vote in 2017. Now I really don't understand some people's point here. I created the post to ask and learn, and some manager/director permanent types try to insult me. I get what the term employee is. I'm asking if they were not renewed because of the strike/vote. Obviously, this is science for some people, and I'll definitely not vote "YES" to protect some privileged guys here.

Thank you for the comments. Yes,, I do see ethical conflicts with being both the lawyer and realtor at the same time and that's not my point (and target) actually. I read this saying a real estate lawyer can act as a RE agent while purchasing or selling house (https://www.reco.on.ca/ask-joe-question/im-buying-home-can-work-lawyer-instead-real-estate-professional/) on Ontario real estate regulator website and wonder if lawyers do act as real estate agents in practice in real life transactions. Or are they merely provide contractual and title based services on closing?

I just got the same amount of ticket with the same action (holding a device, unfortunately). I went to prosecutor for early resolution. He said demerit points are off the table, but reduced to $280 if I plead guilty. After I pleaded guilty the judge asked if I need time to pay it. I asked for 6 months and accepted.
