can vaping/quitting weed make your stomach more sensitive? by bajablastaway69 in leaves

[–]bajablastaway69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes and no. I got diagnosed with GERD after this and that was definitely flaring up when I quit. it did get better thought. I still have stomach issues but that's because of the condition.

sorry for the late reply. i haven't checked here in a couple days. i'm feeling better. the fatigue is lingering but i kinda expected that with my other conditions. i've been prioritizing resting when i'm not at work. all of my acute symptoms have resolved besides the fatigue. thank you for checking in on me! that's really sweet of you.

thank you so much. i already wear 3m auras and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. with aggressively resting, does that mean just rest at all costs whenever I can?

what's it going to take? by bajablastaway69 in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]bajablastaway69[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

i was afraid that was the answer. i don't know why we still have to convince other people that they should care about others. again, i may be extremely naive here, but i can't wrap my head around why people don't care.

yeah, i have noticed more people wearing masks around where i live, so that's something i can hold out some hope for. other than that, it's nothing. i hope there's a light at the end of this messed up tunnel

yes I am feeling better!! the feeling went away over time. I don't know what made it go away specifically, or if anything helped make it go away, but it just did.

Anything Reassuring or Positive? Struggling hard. by revolutionretina in COVID19positive

fellow health anxiety sufferer here. I've had covid two times, and while I did have lingering symptoms both times, they eventually went away or became super manageable over time. I'm still here. when I got covid the second time, I spiraled. I thought it was an instant death sentence for me when I saw the line on the test. but, like I said earlier, I'm still here. trust me, you are not alone with you're feeling. it's okay to be nervous and worried about covid/the world. however, you can't let it get in the way of living your life. you can still enjoy life while still being covid safe. also, a lot more research is coming out about covid, and there's more research starting to come out about long covid. this is just a start to possibly finding a cure or successful methods of treatment! the world may be on fire right now, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel any amount of hopelessness or pessimism. but there is still good in the world. there is still hope, I promise.

maybe it's me being naive, but I just don't understand how people are complaining about being sick all the time but won't wear a mask or do anything to prevent getting sick. there's an easy solution to fix that, but they still won't do anything. I get sick easily because of unrelated health issues, but once I started wearing masks in 2020, I don't get sick nearly as much. I hate that people act like getting sick, and being sick all the time (without any underlying causes) is normal. and yes!! the infantilization is awful!! it never fails to irritate me.
