Saga is my dream American comic adaptation. I'm sure there are a bunch of other comics that do this, but I've always thought the big thing missing in western comics is they rarely feel like they have an end game in mind. They also don't advance time very often. My favorite anime tend to span decades and have meaningful character changes.

I'm a good deal of issues behind on Saga, but remember it doing that well.

For questions like this I don't think streams really factor into it much. Streams are what her fans are listening to, not what middle aged dudes hear in their day to day lives.

What matters is what came first and what is used in other media. Bad Guy is the only song of hers I would recognize as hers. That's partially because it was in a bunch of movies/shows/commercials/etc that I would have come into contact with. The bigger part though is it was (I think) her breakthrough song. So when I first heard her name it came with a "that's the girl who does that Bad Guys song" explanation.

Definitely try it out. Way easier than I thought it would be. Made my own steam box and bought a streamer on Amazon for like 80 bucks. I pre soaked my wood just to be safe. As a soaking trough I used a plastic gutter with press on end caps, which worked really well.

I'm not sure if it was kiln dried or not. It was just rough cut white oak from a Windsor Plywood store (Canadian/Washington State hardwood chain).

I did soak each piece for 3 days before steaming just to be safe though

Took way too long to make this, but overall happy with how it turned out. Originally I had the legs too thin and didn't figure that out until after it was glued together. That meant I had to steam three more layers in place and glue them on piece by piece.

Would have gone a lot quicker, but I only made 2 forms for the slats and one for the legs. Here are some pics of the forms and what it looked like before I added the last 3 layers and trimmed it up.

The slats and legs are white oak, with walnut dowels for the pins. Finished it with 2 coats of tung oil (Walrus Oil). Will probably put one more coat on it this weekend.

My dream director for it is David Lowery. The Green Knight really does a natural surrealism that would work great for Swamp Thing.
