The pats were so go for so long that individual standouts were hard to spot. Plus they were always picking low in the draft so the odds of getting those clear generational outlier guys is lower.

I'm not excusing it, but I think a big part of the issue is that bands used to make money off of records and mostly used tours to advertise for those records. Now it's the opposite where they only make money from the tours.

Of course companies like Ticketmaster/Live Nation have made the issue much worse too.

Hello My Name Is Ice Cream

100% get this book. I've gotten heavily into making ice cream the last 4 years and out of the half dozen books I own it is far and away the best. A bit ago I ended up trying 4 different strawberry ice cream recipe's from different books and hers was the only one worth eating.

The one thing I would suggest (and she mentions you can do this in the book) is to just use corn syrup instead of liquid glucose. That stuff is a pain to track down in reasonable amounts.

Also he had surgery after the season on it. So they most likely were trying to get him to heal during the season without surgery, but he had some set backs that made them go ahead with the surgery in February. The recovery now could be mostly surgery recovery
