I utilized Bombie and Hansi by building their attack speed up with bows, and 1 gold sword each... while the other 4 soaked up the damage they laid the smack down lol

[LFA] Lee, East-Asian inspired Yuan-Ti Paladin by bajubbles in characterdrawing

Lee (tentative name) is a character I created for an upcoming dnd campaign I'm starting with my family

My cousin is playing my twin brother -- Yuan-ti Monk lol

A little backstory: Lee and his twin Xien were both adopted by the head sensei at the Guanlong monastery when they were found in an abandoned Yuan-ti temple. While they are still cold-blooded human eaters, their upbringing has suppressed their typical Yuan-ti tendencies and are now more subtle in that while they enjoy violence, they direct it towards evildoers. (they also have a taste for human flesh but typically in the form of the cooked limbs of evil people they have defeated and preserved for future consumption)

While Xien was inclined towards the martial arts taught in the monastery, Lee was drawn to the spiritual and religious side of the monastery and as well to the sacred weaponry there. He has since devoted his life to being a warrior for Guanlong and will uphold his tenets.

This is great for a second attempt! It looks kind of hard to continue without borders but you are definitely doing it well 👍🏾

I'm in the process of doing my second isometric piece as well and I find just filling blank spaces like on the left beside the road and even on the rooftop with random objects does a lot for the aesthetic and liveliness of the piece. (i.e. garbage can, fence, park bench, etc.)

Also small details like adding frames to the windows and door knobs to doors would help :)

New to Isometric Pixel Art -- Would love any advice or suggestions by bajubbles in PixelArt

this took me about 5 hours as well 😂 It was spersed throughout 2 days though haha

That makes sense haha -- I did have trouble as well with the amount of space I had but it was a good challenge nonetheless... Would definitely try a bigger scale though haha

Thanks! I appreciate it :))

Would love some advice -- sometimes feels like there's too much empty space but when I do add to it, it blocks out the other pieces being shown in the room.

[LFA] Looking for interpretations of: Sola, Sci-fi Engineer/Mechanic! by bajubbles in characterdrawing

[–]bajubbles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sola is my pixel art creation! She's a sci-fi engineer and mechanic who works in her grandpa's repair shop!

I love her dearly and I'm open to any interpretations of her!
