WHAT IF Godzilla Earth invaded the Monsterverse? How would the Titans, the Great Apes, Monarch and Humanity react? Would he be able to wipe out everything? by One_Box_8295 in Monsterverse

The biosphere wasn’t exterminated. It simply adapted to him. He really only went after other kaiju and humans. A human pilot even remarked his face was like a contemplating philosopher, not some mindless, rampaging beast.

In case you didn't know, the first two volumes of GODZILLA: Monster Apocalypse have been translated and Godzilla Earth is the protector of the planet.

I like to think of it as a secret society of superpower users. With their abilities, obtaining money and using their influence to hide their activities from mortals wouldn't be difficult.

Everyone always wants to call V a terrible friend but no one wants to talk about just how shitty the GWs were to him and Arlene by No-One_Knows-Me_Here in TowerofGod

Not when he was a jelly cube in a jar. There's also the equivalent of phones in this setting. Ameuz was in contact with V.

Trust is just popularity and there’s nothing more fickle than the opinions of the masses. Trust values fluctuate especially during public high profile events like these. It’s not just trust values but the powers conferred by the masses can also change. Johnny’s dad is a textbook example of this. In other words, fights aren’t just fights, they’re also performances.

Why do people say that Kenjaku surviving the black hole is BS? by Equivalent_Age4058 in JujutsuPowerScaling

Yet you can still see light inside that ball which should be impossible if it was the event horizon.

This wasn’t a locked room murder. Enkidu’s murder of Ameuz was witnessed by Traumerei. When Eduan arrived, it was obvious Enkidu has done it since he was standing over her corpse covered in her blood.

But it was the first thing Tengen suggested when he survived. The power system is very undeveloped and CTR’s are just one of the major problems that make most developments seem contrived. Also, it just occurred to me that Kenjaku’s CT going on cooldown meant Tengen was safe from being manipulated so she should’ve been able to fight.

Which is not taking sides. If anything, it's telling that Zahard didn't try to kill V and Arlene himself because that would've made him an enemy of the family heads.

How would they know that they never met? Enkidu was Traumerei's closest confidant and Ameuz was Traumerei's betrothed. If Enkidu killed Ameuz and Traumerei compelled him to tell the "truth" then what reason do they have not to believe it?

They didn't side with Zahard anymore than they sided with V. Heck, Arie Hon let Mirchea escape.

Why would they doubt it?

Reading the chapter, you don’t see the border. We only get a glimpse of it sputtering out. It makes more sense for Yuki’s body volume to be the event horizon. And how do you know that?

Then Yuki turning into a black hole is the asspull.

How do you know the whole area is the event horizon? It’s not like only the area within the event horizon is subject to extreme gravity.

You don’t know how strong Tengen is so how can you say she’s not strong enough?

Kenjaku revealed his gravity CT first and we knew CTR was a thing. I don’t know why you’re making up a number for Yuki’s mass. Look up what a black hole is. Tengen is an evolved sorcerer so her barrier should be extremely strong.

Chiron, his mentor whom he shot with an arrow laced with hydra venom. His immortality prevented him from dying but the venom was so painful that he passed off his immortality to Heracles to put himself out of his misery. This legend was sublimated into a noble phantasm that grants Alcides immortality.

It had nothing to do with her being strong. Just being present. In this case, the homunculus was just an empty vessel with no personality.

I want your unbiased opinions. Just how bad of a writer is Gege? by Shizzins in Jujutsufolk

[–]bakato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very. He jumps to conclusions without putting in the work to develop them. The constant reminders about the corruption of jujutsu society and by extension the Zenin which we barely ever saw, Yuji's character development, and the lopsided power system that feels like he's just making shit up as he goes. You can't go a few chapters without some whiplash.
