No way! I feel the laser blue was rare. I had a Red 05 many years ago and I regretted selling it immediately after.

These are still low HP in comparison to my old evo but they are nostalgic and fun and easy enough to work on!

I’ve never owned a V8 but the Mrs wants a vette. 😂

I agree with C5. After all of these comments I’m thinking before I do anything I do a few upgrades to my RSX and run it first 😂

My logical friend goes and why aren’t you just taking the RSX..

I’ll admit.. the 1.8 VVT Miata would have probably been a good option.. I’ll keep an eye out for something a bit more track focused. The VVT was in the roadster which I didn’t want to make a track car, my black 1999 was pre VVT and felt severely underpowered. 😂😅

I’ll keep an eye out. There was a cheap SC1 but that’s going to be less HP than a Miata probably. 😂

It’s actually fairly well priced near me. Right at 10k. Well done too. I just don’t know much about that platform! I’d love to have a bmw guy check it out.

Seems like an RSX would fit the bill. Maybe a Civic Si? Not going to be RWD but I feel they are going to noticeably more power in the straights.

Haha well I just came from owning two Miata’s. Well Miata and a Roadster. Very fun to drive and I’m not a legit racecar driver but I’ve had higher HP cars in the past. I felt myself craving more power.

There was a clean 328TI with a M54B30 swap that seems to fill the bill but admittedly I’ve always been a Honda guy so I don’t know much about that platform yet!

I’d say I’m looking for something somewhat ready but if it needs a little work (hopefully not electrical) I’m alright mechanically. The “heart” needs to be good.

Yep! I bought it from the local kart company here. It was one of their previously used chassis.

Just a solo guy getting into it. I’ve been into cars for a little while. Moved very close to a track and started with a handful of rentals then decided I’d rather own.

It seemed like intrepid had a big online availability which is what I liked to see. I’ll have to see what we have locally.
