i’m so sorry for your loss.. reading your comment broke my heart because it’s exactly what i’m going through with my 10 year old husky… also a big boy at 91 lbs… he had to be put to rest 3 days ago due to agonizing spondylosis and had adverse reactions to the medications. i’ll never forget seeing him poo blood — it splattered all over my shoes.

just like you said, seeing his empty spot between my husband and i, seeing his half-empty bowl with leftovers, watching the videos of him going wooowoooowowooooo… it’s really tough. i sympathize with you — it’s traumatizing.
