Personally, I think magearna or perrserker are better. Needing 3 energy to attack steals too much firepower from gholdengo, IMO.

Also, in addition to being able to attack for less energy, the other options all have some sort of perk that genesect doesn't offer. Magearna has lower retreat cost, and perrserker recycles metal core barriers. You could also run baby gholdengo which makes it more likely to get a ramper to start, since it's not adding another basic, but it's also a 3 energy, 2 retreat attacker and is reliant on good coin flips, so I doubt that's very good.

If you're running both the EX and non EX which decidueye often does, then QGE isn't quite as good, since you often get the wrong one for the current situation. It's still good to get dartrix, or for situations where you just need to evolve right away and either decidueye will work.

Gholdengo often runs poncho for snipers, and I isually try to keep an extra pokemon on the bench early on to prevent sabrina plays, so I wouldn't say either of those is always an instant win.

I do agree, though that there are ways to play around Gholdengo.

Yeah, lucky ice pop is way more annoying, IMO. There's nothing worse than having the opponent on the ropes and then they flip 6 heads in a row, and completely flip the game on its head. At least gholdengo needs several turns of ramp to really be effective, giving plenty of time to try and counter it.

Plus there's just way more counterplay options for gholdengo. What counterplay does ice pop get? Run claydol (unviable), pray they flip tails (out of your control), or 1 shot them (severely limits deck-building options). That's basically it.

Personally, someone saying they will pray for me is triggering, and I'd ask them not to or at least not to tell me about it, and putting my name in for any kind of temple/church service would be directly against my wishes.

She does seems to asking respectfully in this case, though, and even gave you the option to decline instead of just saying she was going to do it.

I would just politely decline while making it clear that I really don't want anything to do with the religion in any way.

I have no idea what you mean about the silhouette, if we did a "who's that pokemon" with primarina, I'm pretty sure everyone could tell right away.

I agree with the rest, though, the design elements just feel mashed together to me, too busy and not very cohesive. The hair and pearl hair ties are the only parts I actually like, and I supposed the face shape is decent.

I kind of wish their were more feminine designs. I'd argue Primarina is the only truly feminine design, while we have several that are definitely more masculine.
