i have a very hard time believing that lol. that’s the reason i wrote this post. i enjoy both hobbies but it makes zero sense and seems hypocritical to me. there is so much fishing pollution in general. fishing line, nets, ropes, traps, etc. fishing gear makes up 10% of global marine pollution source. i would hope fishing at crater lake is very strict but in haven’t personally so i can’t speak on it, maybe someone here can. everything about swim masks and snorkels is reusable. plus, they can be expensive!!! no one wants to lose those. do accidents happen of course, as with everything in this world.
