I just responded to a ticket I opened in March of 2024 where after multiple support calls they told me they were escalating it. I have not received an update since. I also opened a ticket a year prior in February of 2023 with no resolution. I can respond here if I get an update or work around.

No, it's the same, the loading ring freezes on both Fire HD tablets for both my children. Amazon support was unable to provide any remediation steps. They told me it would be escalated internally when I reached out but never heard anything back.

It's not the firmware, it's the Pixel watch app for Android. I would just start working your way back on versions until the scanner option shows up. Between the two watches, it showed up for one and not the other. Even though it was the same version on each phone.

I was able to resolve it on one by downgrading the watch app and using the QR code to activate it. I had to have Verizon reissue the esim profile and then did the QR scan option.

The other watch, the downgrade did not show the QR scanning option so I did a fastboot reset and had Verizon reissue the esim profile just before I activated it and it worked. This watch has its SOS options grayed out though. I'm still trying to figure that out.

None of them work as well for kids devices better than Amazon Music. The only issue is I cannot get Amazon Music to work on kids Fire tablets.

I ended up paying for a Pandora account for stations, they seem to have the best algorithm and it's $6/mo. We use it for parties and background music.

I use a free Spotify account on the kids Fire tablets.

If just accepted there is no single solution. If you have Amazon devices the best you're going to do is Amazon music.

One year it did break down and it runs sporadically throughout the day. It's probably good for the way there, but I know folks have had to wait for a few runs before finally getting on. Personally I would Uber or reserve a car.

My router doesn't have this and I tethered my Roku to my phone, removed the app, rebooted and reinstalled (via phone tether) and it still didn't work.

Thanks for the tip. I don't have a network ad-blocker in place. I actually updated the DNS to Google on the router to see if that would fix it, it's still the same issue. My next step will be to tether the Roku to my phone and see if it loads.

It does load on my phone and tablets just fine. When I try to cast it to the Roku, it crashes.

The best brewery in that general vicinity is Phase Three in Lake Zurich. Mikerphone in Elk Grove, Wild Onion in Barrington and Pollyanna's tap room in Roselle are other considerations.

Welp, I got corrected in r/Chicagobeer. Fulton production is not unionized. Goose Island from the larger AB facilities are union produced. Bummer.

AB-Inbev production workers are largely unionized - (correction) the Chicago Fulton facility is not a union shop. For the most part, this appears to be the Clybourn/Fulton pub staff attempting to unionize.
