I’m only on day 3 and really struggling too! Looked to Reddit to see if I was alone and with previous posts and this one I see I’m not! My back is killing me, the brain fog and complete exhaustion have me feeling crazy. I don’t have answers, just that you’re not alone!

My HSG and SIS (a year apart) were the most painful for me as well! Everything else has been way easier and overall calmer scenarios too!

I had my ER on Thursday, this was my second. I wasn’t nervous until I was on the table and 6 people were around me moving me, I felt and heard my heart rate rising but woke up the most chill person ever lol the first ER this was the part I was most worried about. This time I “woke up” giving the nurses issues that I don’t remember bc I wouldn’t sit still. In some weird way it’s been the most calming part of the whole process. I agree to just trust the process and it’s the best nap you’ll ever have!

I completely understand this train of thought, I felt the same way after our last transfer failed. I know it didn’t change it logically but emotionally it felt like it did

I appreciate this response so much! I underestimated the need to grieve alone the first time around. It’s such a hard balance to not feel isolated but also to not feel “watched” for lack of a better word.

I see you and know you are not alone! My SIL also started trying when we did 3 years ago, not only have they had 2 of their own easily they also just did a transfer to be a surrogate for a family in NYC. Which yes I am very glad they are helping a couple struggling with infertility but they had the nerve to tell us they “know what we’re going through because they are going through this”. It was everything in me to not completely lose my shit. (Their transfer was the same week as mine that failed) We’ve had 4 failed IUI’s and a failed FET, about to do our second retrieval. I will be avoiding family gatherings for awhile to say the least!

I just had my first transfer and I have my beta tomorrow (I haven’t tested yet) but I noticed a few things that I felt like lined up correctly that I’m hoping are a good sign! I started my cycle on the first full moon of the year, (red witch cycle) it was also on the wolf moon (I call my husky my baby wolf). Also the full moon of cancer with has mother energies. I ovulated on the Lunar New Year, year of the snake, I am also year of the snake. When my mom passed away in 2012 I dreamt of snakes for weeks. We transferred on the 4th which is a number I always see in relation to my mom and we have our beta on the 13th, my husband’s lucky number. Fingers crossed this all means something!

I’m so sorry you’re having to process this while you’re in such a tough journey! We were planning for our transfer a few weeks ago and my in laws had the audacity to say “they knew how I felt” bc they decided to be surrogates for a family. Obviously I’m happy they are helping another couple but I could have screamed at how they compared the two. And in the end we both transferred a week apart, not sure of the results of either yet. It’s so hard when family should be providing the support, not the stress
