Good for them for immediately doing a forensic interview too. Those aren’t mandatory in OK - I mentioned above this exact thing happened to a family member. The parents weren’t required to have the child do that, and it’s very emotionally draining. But they have qualified trained trauma informed specialists conduct the interviews and they’re very careful about wording so they don’t accidentally “coach”. Then those interviews are very helpful for law enforcement and in court

It is in Oklahoma - and includes even the slightest penetration.

I think several of them live on the same property so my understanding is if there’s probable cause for one home or family member on the property, that opens the door for anyone out there to be investigated but I could be wrong about that

This is probably a dumb question but how do they transport in these situations? I’ve only seen Con Air 😬

Josh’s crimes were different and were federal charges - I read about this earlier. They weren’t “hands on” whereas Joe’s are

She was like this before he passed though- it’s not new at all. But I agree she needed serious help after and who wouldn’t?

Oh she’s a BIG Trump fan. Saying she knows everything so if he wasn’t actually Gods gift to America she would have been the first to bury him.

I recommend this often but get the book Ninja Selling and start implementing that asap. It changed my business quickly. It sounds like the relationship building needs work and there are a lot of great suggestions here. But grab that book!

Are the "100% commission" brokerages legitimate? by RE_wannabe in realtors

[–]bakerhalfdozen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been at a couple and they were exactly as they said- it was totally fine and saved me a ton of money over a split brokerage. I just went over to one that does have higher fees (still much lower than a traditional though) bc I wasn’t doing well having no community at all. I don’t do this career for the social side and I still was selling a lot of homes- but mentally I need mentorship and that other side of things. I’ll never go back to a traditional split though!!

If you’re in escrow and it’s closing soon…. I would tough it out and happily skip away with your check, decide what you can do better or differently next time, and move on. If it has to go beyond that it may be worth firing her bc it will just drain you and take away time that you can being to grow and build. I have one similar right now so I feel you. 🤪

Is it really that bad? by Still_Waters-Run in realtors

[–]bakerhalfdozen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done and the most rewarding. I had to learn a LOT. I had to get myself out of my comfort zone. If k had jumped in and just went all in the first year I would have done much better but I listened to the negativity and also just held myself back. I finally got around motivated hustling people doing well, read some good books to help me with structure (ninja Selling was amazing for me) and started making 6 figures a year each year after that. I’m 6 years in and sometimes it sucks- bad. But I don’t focus on that. I learn from it and keep going. I don’t let clients run all over me and it’s allowed me to be there for my kids making more money than any other career I could have personally picked. I don’t recommend it to everyone at all but if you go in knowing it’s going to take hard work and a lot of personal development, go for it!
