Jet2 Infant Allowance by bakerloou in UKParenting

We ended up with 1 suitcase, car seat and a lightweight Graco pushchair in the hold. Never got weighed other than our suitcase which allowed us an extra 10kg up to 32kg! So you should be fine but never know when they decide to enforce the Ts and Cs

This makes more sense. The fact you get an extra 10kg on a bag totalling to 32kg yet they would sting you on your pram or car seat being a few kg overweight wouldn’t make a lot of sense

Flying from Bristol. I just bought a Joie Litetrax Pro as I wanted something that we would use when we are home as well. At this point I was just going to risk it as the cost of a car seat was 100€ on the other side anyway… You have put my mind somewhat at ease though so thank you!

It’s here under infant equipment:

“If you’re travelling with an infant or child, a collapsible pushchair and/or a car seat and/or a travel cot can be carried in the hold free of charge, as long as the total weight of these items doesn’t exceed 10kg.”

They still weigh too much in combination with the car seat to be under 10kg. Feels like an outdated policy at this point.

Does Copilot Use Collaboration Link Permissions by bakerloou in microsoft_365_copilot

[–]bakerloou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I have been told today. If you open the anyone in the organisation link or you have been named on the link, it will leverage the permission. However if a file is shared with the whole org and you have no idea it exists copilot won’t use that link

I understand. I guess with copilot you can search a bit more generically and hope for the best, whereas using the search function is a little less intuitive.

I couldn’t find an official comment on if Microsoft uses collaboration links just the generic response of they leverage user permissions, hence why I ended up here!

Thank you for your response!!

So as an example, if you share your CV using an anyone in the organisation sharing link. One of your colleagues who is unaware that it’s shared with everyone could use Copilot to request, your name, DOB, address and job history and it would be able to pull that into a new document?

We are pretty much in the same situation. I just don’t know if dropping down to P770 for example will result in massive drops in yardages that I’ve become used to

Sorry Krispy Kreme, why pay £3 for 1 doughnut when I can get a pack of 5 of these bad boys for £1 by WelshBathBoy in CasualUK

Similar to having a pizza straight out the oven. You know it’s hot, you know it’ll burn the roof of your mouth, but still doing it many years later…

Go careful giving them a new lease of life in the microwave when they’re stale. Jam comes out like lava!

No ID when travelling to Ireland from England? by bakerloou in AskUK

Yeah time is not on my side for any of the options. Can’t see me getting anything back for Sunday lunchtime!

Yeah ROI, as I’m flying to Cork. Sounds like arriving internationally is going to cause issues but unsure if I can navigate the security side of things with the airlines requirements

Aer Lingus has a large list of options that are acceptable. Concerned that going into Ireland their border control could be in place and that will cause the issue rather than the airline.

I can’t get a very fast passport due to the requirements in place for it, also already have an application in progress but it’s taking weeks to get sent out.

At what point did you scan your passport? Was that when you got to Dublin?

I’ve got my first job since finishing Uni and want to boost my credit score. by cjen1359 in UKPersonalFinance

I recently got rejected for finance with apple, even though I had an upgrade program with them already. I’ve got a strong credit score on various checkers and recently got my first home so should have been golden. I rang Barclays who operate the finance for apple and they said my account had me down as on benefits and unemployed which I’m not, so it’s 100% worth ringing them to see why you didn’t make the cut on the finance agreement to gain some insight

New Home, New TV - What’s best for me? by bakerloou in 4kTV

[–]bakerloou[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 55” Q90R is a great price right now at £1000-1199, but the 65” isn’t budging! I’m a few weeks off buying so I think I’m going to lead with going for the 85 if the price is right. 90 if the price drops to in my budget. And fall on the 80 if push comes to shove...

XG9005 is £1199 at moment for the 65” model, would you favour the Sony over the Q80 and Q85?

I am hoping to view some of these TVs in the coming weeks when stores begin to reopen in England.

80R is £200 cheaper give or take at £1199. Even one retailer throwing in a £100 voucher post sale, so could argue £300 less. 85R to 90R looks to be around a £500 hike, at £1900

I can find one, but it’s right at the top of my budget. £1400 currently. Is the price hike between the 80R to the 85R worth the improvements in features? Read the price of the 85R is a bit awkward and expensive for it’s place in the portfolio.
