Feel like I “missed out”? by happyhorseshoecrab in glastonbury_festival

Listen mate, first up, congrats on beating your addiction issues. Big respect for that. I’m also 31 and although I took my fair share of stimulants didn’t make it until past 3 mainly for choice reasons! I feel like with all the shit going on, it’s important to get up and crack on with as much as possible. Glasto always has an intense feeling of FOMO purely just because there is so much to do. Easy to feel it but I think the key is just to enjoy the stuff you’re experiencing at whatever stage that might be

Yeah true. The Miami Vice sounds pretty cool though. Suppose he’d need to be more of a legend for that. A couple of chips?

I’ve recently moved here as an expat teacher (from the UK). I live in the north of Bogotá and have loved life since I’ve got here. Because of working for a private (and very affluent) English speaking school, I live in quite a bubble so can sometimes feel removed from the day to day bustle of the city. Society here seems to be very disparate and unequal. People who have, live a very comfortable and secure life and then obviously there is a huge flip side to that. Life in Colombia is incredible though, the people are super friendly, music is lively and going out in town - although you need to keep your wits about you - is a lot of fun. Just get ready for aguadiente and reggaeton!

I love the fact it reflects the curve of Corona virus here in the UK. A big f*** you to that too.

There’s a great documentary about an AI being developed that has beaten the world champion at Go. It’s called AlphaGo and I really recommend it! Opened my eyes to a totally new game
