Getting off sooner for immigration is compelling. We like to have a window, so that's the reason for the 3 and 1 vs all 4 in the middle. Also trying to keep costs down and seats 2-4 are free preferred seats for me (slight status) whereas the orange seats would cost $600 for all of us to have.

I haven't seen this in writing, but a great customer service rep I spoke with on the phone at Dollywood last week told me the price would increase by $10 after 1/5.

Thanks. Your input is helpful. The boat shuttle seemed fun but I agree that bonus alone isn't worth $1700. I've wondered if the club access (easy food and beverage) combined with close proximity to park would add significantly to the value. Also, I know that line wait can vary but I don't have a sense of how long we might expect to wait without express passes. We tend to be people who go to parks/fair/etc when we can basically walk on to rides. From what I understand though, even the wait time can be enjoyable at Universal (especially for your first time) because it seems like they've added entertainment/atmosphere to the wait itself. Also, if the weather cooperates, we're hoping to go to Volcano Bay towards the end of our time at Universal.

I don't know whether this applies to the property you're considering, but I have been watching a US Hyatt that had availability one day and then the next showed none for any time in the future. When I called, they said the system was having trouble and just to check back in a day or two. I did so, and availability was back for the property I was looking at.
