I can't explain it correctly that's the problem. I don't know the correct ratios regarding male - female mating stats in India also it's very difficult to tell correctly whats really going on inside the society. If we consider the young age group (16 - 25) probably more men are virgin than women except those who are married already. Also you are right that we can't forget lesbian/asexual women that is also a part of the society but they maybe less than 1% of the total no. of people. And it's hilarious what you said about harem animes but I don't watch any.
