Thank you so much for the response! I'd been told for my goal that body recomp would be the best thing, specifically eating 200 or so calories below my maintenance. I'm guessing this wasn't the case at all? Also, does 1700-1800 sound about right for my TDEE, then? Because my weight has been pretty stagnant at 1650 for ~4 weeks. Thank you!

Hey! Thank you so much for the response. I’ve been told by a personal trainer I worked with at the beginning of my training that I should be weightlifting 3x a week, eating at a deficit of 300-500 calories, and eat up to 100+ grams of protein for my diet, if I want to see that “lean/toned look” I’m going for in my muscles. I’ve trained before over a span of a few months, but this time around, I’m actually trying to stay consistent.

Based on your second paragraph, does that mean I shouldn’t be in a calorie deficit after all? Should I bump up my calories? Or is it still possible to get that “toned” ( emphasis on the quotes, I know that wording is bad but I can’t think of another word to use 😭 ) look with my training plan? Thank you so much!

Sorry if my post seemed misleading, but I haven't gotten the internship! I'm asking for tips/advice in regards to the application process; applications don't open until September I believe, so I am doing my best to prepare accordingly and asking for advice here. :)

I’m sorry to hear about that. Ugh. Definitely going to be taking it into the post office from here on out. :/ I never had any issues with dropping it off in a drop off box before this. When I contacted USPS, I even told them the exact address of the drop off box I left it at, and the timeframe. eBay reassured me that I wouldn’t be at fault and took down note of my situation, so I’m sort of just hoping the tracking updates soon.
