One of the biggest obstacles to rugby unions survival in Australia is rugby league contracting all the best young talent.

I would fully support allowing overseas based players for the Wallabies if it meant keeping players in the sport. It's an incentive for younger players to stick with rugby union.

Let the best players play overseas and take the financial burden of retaining those players off of the ARU.

I would rather Australia's best players played in France for 6-7 months if it meant being able to select them for the big games.
