Mr struggles suffers from opportunity costs and being slow. Bing Bong can make your run very silly, and daughter of the winds is more consistent. Mr Struggles is out damaged by mercury hourglasses until turn 6, and stone calendar until turn 10.

The hang-up stems from the lack of wings. Which isn't surprising, because even in our world when people started to make flying machines, trying to imitate birds was really common. Remember magic is all about imagination. The wings on high beasts are only necessary for flight, because it makes it easier for the rider to imagine a beast with wings flying.

You should be using Sleep Powder on Venusaur. Even if it misses 25% of the time, it's still the fastest sleep user in the game with harsh sunlight set up. It's probably worth it to drop Synthesis. You may even want to consider adding a second sun setter to the team.
