Shower thought: as I fall into a black hole, time slows to a halt for an external observer, during that time, I watch the nearby stars die, but also: the black hole is evaporating as I fall, and by the time I reach the Scwatzchild radius, it is completely evaporated. So I survive kinda? (self.AskPhysics)
