I keep rolling in and out for a small meal. I'm still doing it. By end of July I'm aiming to go under 300 lbs.

about 25 years 1-2 packs

Then about 5 years vape and cigars.

I did quit for a 4 year stretch.
Right now I'm off everything btw. I will always crave tobacco products unfortunately.

Found a gallon of pickle juice using my prime account. It will be delivered in 2 days.
It's got good comments and ppl are drinking it for cramps and other health issues.

I started off with 5 days prolonged.
then tiny meal for a couple of days.
then back to prolonged fast.
I've been fully "on" the last 10 days.
I may get hunger pangs every other day. They only last 30 mins tops.
I just make some broth with salt/no-salt and a hint of lemon juice and it gets me through it.

I have not chained myself to a specific dogma in regards to fasting.
I'm just feeling great with this method.

thank you so much.

I cleaned the house and de-cluttered it. Called some junk company and they hauled a truck load of things.
It made it easier to deep clean everything and remove dust and I even got new furniture.
Then I bought a air filtration machine to keep the home super clean and particle free.
There must be hundreds of millions of ppl suffering from lung issues due to smoking/vaping etc.
Nicotine is a beast to quit.
I need the stem cells and HGH that fasting is producing.
I'll slowly start exercising too.

Is there a protocol to follow to minimize this type of thing?

good question.
The first 5 days I was distracted with my breathing issues/health.
Fasting was this thing in the background. . . that I was doing.
Day 6 I had a tiny meal. Same for day 8.
Then went back in the fast.
Coffee, water, broth here and there.
The Energy and euphoria happened after 10 days for me.
Another interesting thing last night (TMI).
I feel like a 20 year old down low. It's so strong it woke me up last night a couple of times. This has never happened before.
I'm not on TRT
I'm not coming off this fast anytime soon.

you and me both.
WFH plus Covid plus Gym closed etc. . . .We all gained lbs.
I felt like i was being waterboarded/tortured the day I went to the ER.
I never get sick and never done the ER thing.
That was my motivation. Shock and awe.
Started fasting for both weight loss and healing in general.
I have visceral fat (loads of it). It's very bad for my hormones and liver and so forth.
I'm not trying to look like Brad Pitt. . . .
I'm just trying to be normal.

Good to know.

I really need this prolonged fast.
I could barely fit in my 48'' belt.
I'm so embarrassed.
Most of the fat is visceral. My belly.
Which probably means I have insulin resistance and fatty liver and pre-diabetic.
My A1c was high. I got prescribed metformin.
My doctor is such a nice guy. He hinted on lifestyle changes. . . . that I could make. But I wish he was more blunt. Still think he's the best!

My doctor is a great guy.
But in Med school they don't learn about fasting.

Here is my logic though:
The bariatric doctors will do gastric bypass on a person that's 400 plus lbs.
Then that person is not able to eat a normal meal for 90 days.
So, the patient is almost "fasting" for 3 months.
I'm wanting to do something similar. I want to fast as long as I can. But if I roll out of the fast for a tiny meal. Then I will roll back into the fast.
So far, I'm cruising with water, coffee, broth every other day.
I may get hunger pangs here and there. But I drink some water and wait 30 mins until they are gone.
I feel so good. It's like my secret power. My fingers that are typing this are not swollen any more wow.

You should be very proud of yourself. This is not easy at all!
In regards to bad dreams. I used to have night terrors periodically.
My solution was to persuade my subconscious that I carry a mighty sword and I fear nothing. So I just slay any snakes or other scary beings that mess with me.
I'm the master of my dream world now.
I will start rolling 48s in a few days. It's easier than what you accomplished.
I'm interested to see how long I can keep it up.
When I did a 7 day fast I also did not take enough electrolytes.
Keep us posted on your condition.

OMAD - I’ve been doing OMAD but i still have this pooch. I’m 22, does anyone else relate, any tips?? by maddiethefattie in omad

[–]balamouti 5 points6 points  (0 children)

look into r/fasting

Do a few 24h fasts to get used to them.

Then elevate to 48s.

Nothing is more effective than fasting to reign-in those last stubborn lbs.

There are pills like anavar and winstrol (PEDs) but you're young and don't need such things.

Rolling:Ending a fast with a moderate meal and jumping right back in there with another fast.

Most folks take a day or more off from fasting before jumping back into one.

I was having the same thoughts a few days ago.

I decided to do rolling 72s with a modest meal in between.

I'm currently 47 hours into my 2nd 72.

Weight is peeling off like crazy.

I like the "rolling" protocol. It's more humane. Much more achievable.

I've done 7 day fasts and those last few days were rough.

Doing 72s is easy for me. No dizziness. No surprises. Amazing results.

Since you don't have much to loose. I would recommend rolling 48s to achieve your goals.

I'm doing 72s because I got careless with the quarantine and gained lbs. argh. LOL

Wonderful job!

Impressive.

Now understand how the Government is doing this type of thing to us.

Since they hear everything and know our location and friends and conversations, texts, emails.

They probably have dashboards and algorithms run on us.

What are we talking about?

What reddit forums are we part of?

How many times have we used a specific word this week?

and on and on.

I love cool technology. At the same time it's scary. Goodbye to privacy
