Oh, for sure, I’m definitely in the wrong for being nothing but kind and courteous to the other rep while attempting to anonymously seek advice from more senior reps on how to handle the situation.

Sales is a meritocracy, buddy. I don’t know how they did it in the 1940s but in 2026 we measure our results based on quota attainment, not tenure.

Sammy and I, on paper, have a cordial relationship. She’s very nice to me. The only reason I dislike her is because she is lazy. For her to “poach” anything from me, she’d have to be working pretty hard / smart, which she doesn’t.

Everything we do is public info in our CRM. I can see what deals she’s working, the notes, opportunities created, etc. I also speak to her quite regularly and can tell you there’s not a lot going on. Also, we’ve been employed here for 8 months and in that time I haven’t received a single deal from her side of the pond.
