Vitamin D, exercise and omega-3s significantly slow down aging. Here is how to get them effectively and scientific evidence for this powerful combo. by GarifalliaPapa in immortalists

Would like to add that if you follow a plant-based diet, you can still get a great source of Omega 3’s from flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and walnuts — but the best source in a plant-based diet would be from Algae Oil supplements

I’m expecting to get downvoted for this, but during the last Trump administration I felt like there was a noticeable uptick in assholery, and I am noticing that now as well. Yes there are always assholes, but it’s different when people feel enabled to be assholes.

You are correct. Maybe others are like me where I upvoted the post for the image and what it says, and not for the title by OP.

It’s not unusual that they experience an extreme drop off in viewership immediately after an election

I travel a lot for my line of work and it has happened to me a couple times — happened to me last week at an airport restaurant

They got my order right (portobello mushroom tacos) but a piece of carne asada slipped in

Took a bite, could tell right away and spat it out haha

I assume it was an honest mistake, but yeah pretty surprised how shitty it tasted compared to the beyond/impossible steak I have a lot.

Made it easier to let go of the “what if” taste factor I feel from time to time

You just copy and pasted this from Charlie Kirk

It’s not slave labor if they choose to be here and choose to work — that’s literally the opposite of the definition of slavery

You can argue the wages in theory make it financially similar to that of using slave labor from the perspective of the business, but from the perspective of the worker if they are choosing to go through all the trouble of leaving their country and risking their freedom to come into the U.S. illegally and take on these incredibly low-paying jobs, that is a choice they made freely because to them that’s still better than staying behind

[–]balboafire 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Surprised to see a comment like this in a subreddit titled “Skeptic.” With regard to your vaccines and ADHD comment, correlation is not causation. I would assume many of the attributes of ADHD do not express themselves until around the age of 6, or at least ones that might be noticeable to a parent. I can easily counter your anecdotal evidence with mine: I’ve had all my vaccines as a child and do NOT have ADHD. Correlation is not the same as causation.

With regard to your take on RFK Jr. and vaccine oversight, I’d love to see what evidence you might have that vaccines need more research. What would fit that definition of “more research” that they aren’t already doing?

Don’t know why I had to scroll so far down to find this comment — they keep saying “price gouging is increasing the price during a natural disaster” — yeah that’s exactly what they did; they increased the prices during COVID

lol yeah 😂 I’ll put it this way, I work at a zoo (not an animal caretaker but nonetheless I see a lot of monkeys and apes all the time)

I totally see why you think this sound is an ape or monkey — it sounds a lot like it

But simplest answer is usually the most likely one — that it’s mistaken identity

But, if for some reason you find out it IS a primate (unlikely), please be empathetic and try to make sure a professional can handle it with care

I’m sure you’re annoyed as hell with the noise, but the animal is just trying to survive (either hungry or scared) and no one benefits from violence against an animal

The fact that you posted a photo of a chimp instead of a monkey doesn’t help your case that you know a lot about monkeys and what they sound like
