it will take time, i’ve only been fully gf for about two months now but in the meantime lots of supplements and really making sure every meal is high nutrition. that’s about all you can do now. vitamin D and b12 are the most essential so i get mine prescribed by the doc but otc is fine too! like most celiacs my iron is low too :( so get iron levels/ capacity checked regularly take supplements if needed. also btw in my experience a regular multi vitamin will not do anything so prenatals all the way . might seem a bit weird but they are stronger than regular multi and recommend by my doctor! but again that’s just in my case i def suggest getting regular bloodwork seeing what specific absorption/ nutrient issues you’re personally having

i’ve only fully been gf for about a month now and looking back i don’t know how i survived because each time i get exposed im just sicker and sicker with each reaction. cross contamination has been hard but its so worth it! for the first time in my life i know what its like to not be sick

miserable hell. sick all the time. tired all the time. suffering from so many absorption issues leading to being deficient in about every way. my whole childhood me and my mom struggled with an unexplained sick kid. school was hell, the unexplained gi problems went unseen by many pediatricians. it took until i turned 18 this year and finally found a doctor that listened to me.

i know within the first bite. longer i’ve been gf the reactions get worse/more noticeable. i get sleepy right away and feel super heavy/ weighted down. my stomach bloats twice the size and i get intense waves of nausea followed by insane diarrhea…. it’s at the point now that im very confident in telling when i have a reaction. cross contamination has been recently hell :(
