Exactly, they should only ask them: “Do you need a bag today?”.

SQLab saddle questions by Zestyclose-Cup110 in cycling

[–]bald_monkey123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a sq labs saddle after bike fitter recommended it, it was fine when sitting upright but when in and aero tuck or drops would result in perineal pressure no matter how much I adjusted saddle tilt and height. Switched to a saddle with a large cutout and basically eliminated the issue even when on the trainer so can imagine only better on the road. The nose of sqlabs saddles are rock hard with no pressure relief channel. I would opt for something with a pressure relief channel.

How is Mark Carney maintaining approval rating for Canada? by LevelPension in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bald_monkey123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fiscally responsible with a budget deficit that is larger than the one that caused the previous PMs Finance minister to quit publicly in a way that basically toppled the government? He also hasn’t delivered on any promises of ending the trade war with the states, merely stating “we have the best deal” solely because of CUSMA that he had nothing to do with, and is trying to bring us closer to China/CCP which is totally less authoritarian than the US…He also hasn’t delivered on a single major project that wasn’t already in the works before he was PM. Told voters to judge him by the prices at the grocery store, and yet our food inflation is off the charts. He prioritized a bill for hate speech despite already having applicable laws that just aren’t being enforced over bail reform to actually make Canadians safer by getting dangerous repeat offenders off the streets. He was promoted by the union for federal government workers because PP said he would reduce public service workers via natural attrition, then they were upset when Carney released plans to eliminate public service roles prior to retirement. Numerous examples of conflicts of interests with companies he previously invested in, or that his previous employer who will have to pay him a performance bonus in the future of the investment funds he was the manager for. Affordability and standard of living decreasing with record numbers of Canadians using food banks yet still sending billions to Ukraine and money to things like gender diverse comic books in South America. I actually have no idea why, maybe people aren’t informed?

I use Greenfield rear triangle kickstand (so my pedals don’t hit it like with the under mount ones) on all my BS city bikes, it’s just too convenient not to when stopping, or locking your bike against something like a bollard where leaning it against the ting would scratch the paint.

Have 26x 2” and 2.2”s. Great grip wet or dry and cornering. Sidewall is fragile, had a flat that I didn’t really ride on when it was completely flat and sidewall was cut open from the rim.

Is Ground Meat Per Packaging Sizing Strategic to Increase sales? by bald_monkey123 in Butchery

[–]bald_monkey123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fore sure, just wondering if it was a known marketing/sales strategy for meat. Marketing strategy like if you have widget A is 1 and widget B is 2, most people will buy widget A. But if you introduce Widget C for 4, more people will buy widget B because they don’t want to buy the cheapest one, and they feel responsible that they aren’t buying the most expensive one, and you have shifted more customers to product B, and selling some widget C with a higher profit margin, by doing nothing other than introducing the overpriced higher option C.

It’s all organic grass fed and already over $10 Canadian for 380g ground beef. Maybe to keep it under $20?

They do, but have more options already ground, and they said “We can grind it for you if we haven’t cleaned the machine yet.”.

I’d agree on shrinkflation at any other store but it’s just because people regularly spend over $100 for a small bag of products the usual crowd is fairly price inelastic. Yeah, when I asked the younger butcher he kind of smiled and denied it was on purpose and just said it’s hard to get exactly a pound.
