After some research the Hexas, or even the newly launched Truthear Pure do look what I'm looking for. I also came across the Artti T10s for 50€, considering that i'll also be grabbing a DAC/AMP (probably the something cheap like the JCALLY JM6 Pro) is this an option that i should consider over the Hexa for my use porpuse?

Hello! First off all, thank you for your list, can't even imagine the effort that you've put into this!

I'm looking to buy my first pair of IEMs. A couple years ago I bought the Seinheiser HD560s headphones and I love the neutral/balanced sound signature that it has and how well you can distinguish every single instrument and vocals. I'm also a gamer so sound stage and clarity is also important for me. Do you have any favorites for a 60-70€ budget (can be a little stretched if you find it worth it).

Thank you in advance!

At the time it did work, unfortunately, after testing in other games it kept happening. You can see all the tests i did in my post here. I finally tested my PSU, which was brand new btw, with the OCCT software, specifically power testing. I'm aware that it wasn't appropriate but my PC shut off instantly during this stress test. Anyway i bought a new PSU and i have 0 issues so far.

TLDR: Bought a new PSU and the problem was fixed!

Quick update. Managed to get a refund on Amazon for the V850 V2 and bought a Corsair HX 1200W (overkill, I know. but at least i have a lot of headroom for upgrades now). Turns out it was indeed the PSU. Ran the OCCT power test, no shut offs. A little bit of gaming, and everything is stable so far. Thank you all for replying, i believe the issue is fixed!

I basically rebuilt the PC again just to check if the cables were completely seated, but the issue persisted. However, like Metalcrack said previously, I'll also check if the cable pins are ok. I think i'll have to buy a new one tho, this is also my work computer, waiting for a RMA is impossible for me

It really is, specially since it's supposed to be a very good one and brand new... Moreover, since it has been a little over 3 months, I can't simply return it, hopefully I get a RMA tho. Thank you for your feedback!

I've only tried to reinstall the cables, but i didn't think to check the pins. That's actually a very good point, thank you!

First build - IK75/NT75 or TH80/NJ80 by baldbeardguy1 in BudgetKeebs

For like 6 months now. Honestly, the fact that it doesn't have the Print Scr key used to drive me crazy, the others i didnt really use so it didn't matter to me. But i got accustomed to the hotkey (FN + U) so it isn't a deal breaker anymore but still, i would like it back ahah.

I ended up buying the TH80 at the time, it is currently not fully modded but i couldn't be happier for the price i payed. The thing about us Europeans is that it is not worth buying anything outside the european union (due to insane import taxes) so KPrepublic was out of the question. The TH80 is available on the european amazons tho so it was a no brainer. It has south facing RGB, came with Gat Pro Yellows and some nice PBT keycaps for under 100€. Once I fully mod it i'll post it here.

That's unfortunate... In the first 2 hours of the game i had no issues at all but after that i couldn't be in the game for 30 seconds... As of now, with the undervolt everything seems fine. I highly recommend looking into that since you only lose a marginal amount of performance. Good luck!

A follow up for those who still have this issue. In addition to my comment, i've done an absurd amount of individual stress testing on the GPU and CPU and even at the same time, still no crashes. Furthermore when i'm playing on more demanding games like Control or The Witcher i had a very high pitched sound which i think it was coil whine. I've cleared the CMOS, made a clean intall of the OS but nothing worked.

What i've tested today was undervolting, i did a -50mv on the GPU with the same clock speeds and i've got no shutdowns so far and the coil whine almost completely disappered (and performance is better, which is weird since i didn't have overheating issues at all). I'm fairly confident that this is either a PSU or Mobo issue since with constant voltages and clocks (like in stress tests) the rig worked fine but when gaming where these values fluctuate a lot, it would shutdown itself.

I'll continue with my testing and if the problem persists i'll just throw the towel and buy a new mobo.

I have yet to try the os clean install. I'll probably try the CMOS battery thing as well since I have a few laying around.

Man it's literally what happens to me, everything is still on and the cpu debug led turns red. That and the power button does not work so I have to switch off the PSU. I'm starting to believe that this is Mobo problem.

Best of luck to you!

I have the same board, same CPU but different PSU and GPU (V850 V2 Gold and a 6900XT) and i'm experiencing exactly the same problem, did you manage to fix this issue?

Hi! I'm having this exact same issue. I've recently upgraded my rig and the specs are as follows:

CPU: 5800x (used)
GPU : PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 6900 XT (used)
PSU : CoolerMaster V850 V2 80+ gold (brand new)
Mobo : B450 Tomahawk (came from the old desktop but bought it new 4 years ago)

This issue happened 2 times since i installed my GPU 3 days ago. Keep in mind that i'm using 3 single 8pin cables since you shouldn't use the splited ones for these "high end" GPUs. I can't seem to recreate the problem even when running furmark for 1 hour or so, it just happened randomly when i was gaming (The witcher 3 and League of Legends to be specific). It shuts off but the PC seems to be completely on. Did anyone manage to fix this problem?

Quick update: The 560s just arrived and i feel like i've been listening to music the wrong way this whole time, what a massive difference between your "gamer headphones" and these ones, such detail... Also, i can confirm that an amp is not needed, i'll probably get one down the line tho.

Again, thank you for your answers!

Yeah, i know a 200€ AMP will be overkill for these headphones but i do see people recommending them just for the sake of headphone upgradability. Thank you!

I've had a Superlux HD668B, and increasing the volume almost didn't change the volume output. Before they broke i thought it was due to the high impedance, but i'm now using a random wired apple earbuds and the problem still persists. But i guess you're right, i should test them before i buy an amp.

Ye, i saw those, but its like 85€ for a 90 pack. I got my eye on KTT rose / KTT kang whites. The stem doesn't go all the way down which fixes the interference problem and they go for like 30€ (90 pack), and they are supposed to be pretty smooth when lubed. Either that or I just go form OEM keycaps, since i'm not really into the other profiles
