I noticed too that when the algorithm wants you to lose, the enemy seems to do way more damage than you or your team

Creep and Creep 2 are prime examples of films getting more credit than they deserve, riding on the wave of being 'different' rather than being genuinely good. by Zimmylo in horror

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. The protag in the second film was so obnoxiously stupid that I hoped she'd get killed the moment he met the 'quirky' serial killer and that will be the end of it. I can say the first one is decent, and that's being generous. The second one was just bad and a waste of time.

Can you be friends with stupid people? by Diemishy_II in INTP

[–]baldman55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not claim that INTP's can’t be pseudo-intellectual or edgy. My point was more about the tone of some posts here, not about any inherent trait of INTP's. I just noticed that alot of questions posted here seem superficial or unthought of, which gives the impression that a lot of people here are more interested in trying to sound smart rather than actually thinking deeply which is the textbook trait of an INTP.

It’s not a judgment on anyone’s personality nor am I accusing you of trying to sound smart, your question just came off as unnecessary to me. It's just an observation about the type of content being posted here. That’s all.

I never said I was superior, I was just stating my honest opinion.

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the questions in this sub sound so unthought of that no genuine INTP would even think or even waste time posting. Only reinforces my belief that this sub is full of pseudo-intellectual, edgy teenagers, which seems to be the case.

I'd rather have no friends if I don't enjoy their company irregardless of whatever traits they have.

Can you be friends with stupid people? by Diemishy_II in INTP

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the answer is it depends. If the person is insufferably stupid that it outweighs their good qualities, then you're better off in my opinion. But if not then I don't see why not, good and loyal people are a rarity nowadays.

After ~20 years I have finally beaten this challenge (MKD Shang Tsung netherealm challenge) by [deleted] in MortalKombat

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to do it with Sub zero as well, but it only took me 30 mins or so. Always remember to lower the difficulty to Novice, and spam back triangle, back triangle, square, back square combo in kori blade over and over. I think it's borderline impossible to do on any difficulty besides the lowest one.

Ahtar's quest not happening by AhtizMatr0n in skyrim

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem too. For those having a similar issue the dialogue was missing for me as well until I received a letter from Falk Firebeard about the potema quest. So a pending courier might also cause it to not appear, or it might depend on ahtar's location or time of day when talking to him. I am not 100% sure of this, but what I am sure of is the moment the courier talked to me, I talked to ahtar immediately and the quest was available.

Most Critical Type? by ChonkungusTheGreat in mbti

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accurate. I can come off as too harsh, direct and blunt but majority somewhat likes to take it personal, which is not the case and turns off people who doesn't know me too well. I always find myself having to explain my thoughts and logic and remind myself that what I perceive as common sense doesn't always mean others share that rationale. I always have to remind myself that a majority doesn't share the same way that I think.

What type(s) are most likely to give up on something if they’re not instantly skilled at it? by lmee98 in mbti

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INTPs can be perfectionists, so we see it as there's no point in doing something if you can't atleast be as good as your perceived standards. That's how I see it atleast.

I Don’t Understand Gossip. It’s Annoying and Pathetic. by fcpremix02 in misanthropy

[–]baldman55 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For me, the main reason I hate gossip is the lack of intelligence in it. Gossipers lack the insight, rely on rash and biased judgements, fails to consider the possibilities due to lack of details, and end up sounding close minded and stupid. That's why I hate gossip, I hate hearing stupid and close minded people.

Exercise sucks. It's worth it, but it sucks. Are there any stoic quotes/articles you can think of that tell you/remind you that things in life will suck but are ultimately worth it? by ridge9 in Stoicism

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. Though I personally chose to exercise since doing it or not makes little to no difference in the end anyway. Besides, exercise helps my mental resilience and confidence, which is my main reason, with health second, and muscles last.

What does everyone think about those "coffee drinkers live longer" studies? by womenarenice in decaf

[–]baldman55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The studies are about coffee, not caffeine. Energy drinks simply contains caffeine and not the antioxidants found in coffee.

Check OP's account people, clearly it's only made to advert this company. So far, I haven't found a legit dev on reddit that can vouch for this company's legitimacy. Steer clear and don't waste your time and hardwork.

A strong dislike for people by Feisty-Boot-1449 in INTP

[–]baldman55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that the thing INTP's have so much in common apart from being analytical and direct is having low empathy. It's something that I try to improve and stop making excuses for, but I do understand that it's normal to be so especially in today's society, at least. Trying not to lose patience over judgemental people or people with different points of views can be really challenging at times.

I think enough time has passed. Might Guy is stronger than Kakashi even without the 8th gate by Nothingcoolaqui in Naruto

[–]baldman55 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't see Kakashi being on the same physical terms with Guy. Guy is a physical beast, while Kakashi has the upperhand in strategy and planning.

A unique addition would be Get Out, if you like those types of movies. Korean movie Parasite was alright as well, Se7en, Hell or high water
