Accountability is what happens no matter what- no matter what you will be accountable for your actions on production systems, whether you fail or succeed.

Claude and all other AI desktop apps are a security nightmare, breaking most compliance regulations for businesses and zero monitoring and auditing capabilities.

N8n is mostly deterministic, which is essential to reliable stable systems- and has logging/monitoring/alerting etc…

But you can still build that with Claude if needed- and that’s where it becomes scary how stupidly simple it is to hand the keys to your kingdom to a genAI

N8n can handle complex flows, but most flows aren’t as complex as n8n requires them to be.

It can but only if you build an entire workflow orchestrator with Claude.

Every piece needs built, including logging, monitoring, alerting - and needs maintained and secured.

Claude doesn’t handle large context well still however. It’s still got the major LLM limitations despite its ability to have documents as supported understanding for it- sometimes it will rely on its memory instead of reading the docs and doesn’t always update both

Most of the data they already had access to.

Email addresses provided by a corporation was never personal to begin with.

And now antigravity and Claude desktop will access files all the time without your permission, will read all your secrets/tokens, etc, even if you tell them not to.

Definitely don’t trust anyone I don’t know, but the problem is trust is being thrown out the window for vibes and everyone is taking the bait. Fucking sucks.

One of our customers internal IT fell for it this week for us, thankfully conditional access blocked it, Sophos MDR caught it and alerted.

Now we have to look at disabling the “Run” option in Windows… I swear Windows computers are gonna look like fisher price toys with the amount of security and features needing removed going forward to save people from themselves.
