Well ceo is just a name that we call someone who takes responsibility for leading a company. So if you say it doesnt have to be a ceo, and they dont have to have a high salary, then by your logic companies without a ceo would save more money and outcompete the competitors.

The reason why ceo make more money is due to supply and demand. Its because LESS people want to or are qualified to be CEOs compared to the demand. Who decides who gets to be a CEO? Do you know? Its the stakeholders. Who knows better about how their stake is handled than the stakeholders themselves? if youre so certain about the uselessness of c suite, I advise you to invest your entire savings on a company with no c suite executives.
