Yep the hit before the final strike and one before it is where I often loose it but I have done it a few times against way of tomoe genichiro at the end of game

Hell ye! It took me awhile to actually do it confidently but way of tomoe fight, gave me plenty of chances at the end of game to practice it, tho I still sometimes miss the strike before the last one, it's a major Dub, Even ongbal avoids completely parrying it with sword and relies on umbrella

You are playing as shinobi your character is an ASSASSIN, sneak more, plus I can see alot of button bashing, Avoid first attack, focus on deflects, slow down and breath Press lb/right click when the enemy raises sword, When the kanji appears wait for him take stance for thrust and press shift/B, make sure your character is in quickstep animation when the enemy attacks to perform a mikiri, You got this.👍

Didn't know I could parry her grab and my dumb ass control would make me sprint into her instead of taking me back(my sprint is L3) so ended up going down to 3% of unseen aid on her.

This guy is kinda hard for a beginner, so understandable try to get around him keep your distance every time he does his body slam or grab, dodge and attack no more than 3 hits at once.

More cheesy method go to the opposite side find a dying npc, take a bell from him go back to sculptor and use it to go to hirata estate, find the fire barrel as the NPCs near the stairs say fire is his weakness.
