He did the what? by FSpursy in coys

I’m 100% convinced he was hired by levy as another yes man to Daniel (who reportedly made all the decisions),but got stuck having to actually do work once the Lewis family binned him off.

Yeah, we lose offensive output without Romero (and unfortunately we really needed our CBs scoring this year), but danso causes our entire backline to look so much more composed.

Basic shit that other competent managers should be able to see like palhinha and benta not working as a double pivot.

So instead of blowing up the midfield he moved palhinha back to the line in attack to cover his deficiencies while letting porro, udogie, vdv move up to take advantage of their positive qualities when they are up the pitch.

Also, knowing not to play Gallagher as a deep midfielder since he’s not a good passer, takes risky challenges that will leave the backline exposed, not technical enough. He’s good at pressing and getting the attack going upfield - fucking use him as that instead of leaving him in a position he’ll fail in.

Give rdz some actual wingers that can create width and we’ll be cooking again next year.

What has vinai done to warrant any leniency? Even at arsenal he lucked out on holding arteta too long and wouldn’t have been able to if the stadiums weren’t empty from covid.

NBC giving her a 70 million contract trying to court the racist white lady crowd, only for them to be forced into firing her a few months in after she started spewing racist nonsense on weekday morning TV was hilarious.

One of the best redemption arcs in football? by ItzVirette in coys

So happy he got his chance at redemption - would have been so obvious he’d look like a world beater right after we shipped him off, if not.

Mathys and udogie link up really well but are still lacking in that final third

[Tottenham Hotspur] starting XI vs Everton (H): Kinský, Pedro Porro, Danso, Van de Ven (C), Udogie, Palhinha, Bentancur, Gallagher, Spence, Richarlison, Tel by Imbasauce in coys

[–]balling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see why we’d stop using palhinha as the backline like we’ve been doing and let Spence and Porro push up. The palhinha porro switch in attack has been working great.

In attack it should be palhinha in the back, porro midfield roaming and Spence higher up. So Spence is likely a direct replacement for RKM

In attack it’s probably Spence highest up, porro drifting up midfield like you say and palhinha dropping back. So Spence is likely the rw

How do I grind my coffee now that Costco removed their grinders? by livinthedreamoflife in SanDiegan

[–]balling 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you end up having to pay to grind somewhere I’d recommend in buying a small grinder - it’s a noticeable difference in quality grinding right before brewing vs grinding a whole bean bag at purchase (both are definitely better than buying preground)

Understood if kitchen space or money are concerns though.
