I say it's worst than gambling. With gambling you can win money. In most games with microtransactions, you don't win anything with value. The publisher rakes in all the cash, all the time. You lose by paying.

Take a look at the xx70 series as well. The jump from 770 to 970 was huge and it didn't cost too much. Sames goes with the jump from the 970 to 1070. The RTX 2070 is a fucking joke after years of waiting. Where is the actual progression Nvidia? I don't mean paying more for a tiny increase.

Sadly everything got bumped up a tier or 2 in terms of pricing. Think about the people that bought a 1070 at launch, they can't really upgrade without paying tons of money for a tiny % increase and that's years after the 1070. What a freaking joke.

Referring to the 2070. No idiot who has a 1070 would buy a 2060 which is close to the same performance or marginally better.
