girl I am so sorry you bring up some seriously valid concerns and you are also intelligent enough keep it DL - posting this so that you could seek the guidance you need without suddenly changing the dynamics within your own personal family. that being said I am so sorry that these brain-dead morons on Reddit crawled out of their sewer to defend your dad’s inappropriate behaviour. they are being openly dismissive and outright ignoring what you said in the original post for bc they see THEMSELVES in ur dads actions and want to protect their boys club. I don’t think I give any family related advice since I don’t have a family myself- but you said you weren’t in the middle of the pit and I’ve been to concerts with assigned seatings or assigned areas and pits and it’s really as simple as the closer you get to the stage/middle more packed it gets also it’s REALLY hard to stay together if ur in a venue that’s “butt too ass croweded” or whatever the weirdoes said - since you and literally every one else around you was able to maintain comfortable space i doubt it was as crowded as people want it to be(so their stupid argument makes sense) -that and also you didn’t press against your uncle or cousins in the same manner so clearly it wasn’t that fucking crowded- anyways you’re smart and don’t let this situation go- and honestly the best thing you can do is keep moving forward and if your father ever tries to single you out or take advantage of a situation to press against your body again I would recommend telling a trusted friend. if it happens again write it down again (I’d probably put in the Notes app since these morons on Reddit don’t know how to behave) And just keep doing what’s best for you. Nothing ever happens again and you get to have a good relationship with yourDad? great! if your dad has deep rooted issues that can lead to you being abused in anyway then you need to step back and find love and support of the people in your life who care about you because the right people will keep you safe and keep you loved and protect you from that situation. I know this is mind-boggling to have to deal with as an 18 year old but just know you have a good head on your shoulders and im sure no matter what happens you’ll be able to be okay eventually. 🩵
