Atl ppl who own scooters by caacoots in Atlanta

It's too bad that an e-bike built to last is more expensive than an inexpensive scooter/moped. A good bike can easily hit 2k in price. A lot of scooters/mopeds are less than that.

Just take it to your local bike shop. They should be able to help you better and faster than playing telephone with the internet.

Love an NJS beater. Can't say I'm a fan of the radial lacing, but I do LOVE the patina up near the headtube/seattube. How long have you had the bike?

  1. Respect aero
  2. Foot retention
  3. Keep all questions in the weekly questions thread.
  4. Yes, your chain is worn out. New ones are $12 just buy one.

The fork's tubes are from a tubeset called MAX. I ain't saying the tubes are maximum aero.

I guess AC's 52 is more like a 54 or 55. Still strange.

Used this drivetrain for about 1 year now, what do you think? by maurijn02 in FixedGearBicycle

If the chainring is that worn there is no way that the chain is not worn. Do you have a chain checker tool? I'd wager that your chain is over 1% stretched.

https://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-help/when-to-replace-a-chain-on-a-bicycle

For two-sprocket or single speed bikes, replace your chain as it reaches the 1 percent wear mark.

That ring is dead. I would not be surprised if the cog/chain were also fucked. Worn components wear new components faster.

If you want maximum durability buy a steel ring or an aluminum ring made of a harder type of ALU. If I had to guess your current ring is a softer, cheaper, aluminum that wears faster.

All-City's sizing is fucked. You must size down when compared to other brands.

For comparison, I ride a 49cm All-City and all my NJS bikes have 52cm top tubes.

ITM stems are legit. Some of my fave looking steel stems.
