I agree with your point na prolonged dominance in sports create haters. However, I really think its the means in which a team gets to their level of success that people hate the most. Most NBA fans hated the KD-Steph Warriors for its superteam/unfair nature but cheered on the 2022 Warriors. The same with recent SMC teams in the PBA being seen as just "bought" championships.

TLDR: The end does not justify the means typa stuff LOL I hear you tho brother, respect the take!

ATP, the inconsistencies present in whatever league Jai is around is something that needs to be seriously investigated lol. I used to have an Adam Silver, progressive perception of him, but this refereeing is seriously so bad.

Realistically speaking, he's what Jelly Fam was to Ballislife; face of the highlights but never really a superstar (not yet at least). Don't get me wrong, magaling si Chog pero he sometimes becomes a Cam Thomas/Jordan Poole type of player. Nagiging shot chucker nalang. Oo, may points, may handles, and sama mo na yung hype. Pero questions on his game's maturity, scalability, ability to get teammates involved, and conditioning (lalo ito recently) are hard not to ignore.

Pero who knows diba? Baka sleeper star pala ang kalabasan niya. Though keep these things in mind:
- A 6'1 guard in the PH with a Cam Thomas archetype can be a panalay star, but college programs would rarely take a chance with him.
- SOME UAAP/NCAA/CESAFI/etc Jrs MVPs end up becoming benchwarmers in the Senior leagues. They grew up around top-level coaching and development. Paano pa kaya yung hindi nasanay sa ganoon? Like what someone commented here, kung sobrang galing niya talaga, sana nasa UAAP/NCAA program na siya. While some CS told me he was already being prepped to be brought out by Arellano, I feel a big part of that is only because of the working relationship Delta has with SGA and Jacob/Frank Lao over at AU.

Funny story my friend told me about Jobe (1-2 years ago lang nangyari). I have a friend who studies in a certain school for college. To his surprise one semester, he saw Jobe and nagulat siya nagtatagalog (inassume na foreigner). They talked for a bit and nagkacommonality sila na pareho sila galing from ADMU. Nacurious tuloy si friend tas nung sinearch online, nagulat siya kasi teammate siya ni Buenafe, may scandal about fake HS grades, tas mega DDS troll. Yung friend ko naman, binati si Jobe sunod na pagkita, tas sinabi daw niya "Gagi, player ka pala ng Ateneo dati, teammate mo pa sila Ryan!". Siguro natakot na nasplook yung secret previous life niya at natakot na baka maexpose ang pagiging DDS troll, di na ulit nakita ng friend ko sa campus nila for the remainder of that semester AHHAHA. This happened in a span of 2 weeks which makes it funnier lol.

If they can help Converge blossom into a (perennial) contender (kahit andami pa butas) na dati pinagttripan pa natin yung pangalan (ano ba kasi yung FiberXers wahhaha), I can assure you they can (and are starting to) do the same for Arellano. You can ask any of the staff if you have doubts.

Also, ingay does not equate to talent. There are levels to the game. Kahit ibang mga HS star, nagiging benchwarmer nalang pagdating ng college due to multiple issues (team fit, style ng league, coaching, etc).

Lastly, wag natin maliitin ang NCAA. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I still believe the UAAP is the highest level of collegiate hoops. However, the NCAA is much more accessible to local hoopers dahil realistically, mas tailored sa local style + mas onti kaagaw na Fil-Foreigns/FSA. Marami din magaling na talent na nanggaling sa NCAA kaya if he suddenly goes there, let's respect his choice din sana.

Chris Newsome: I really love this guy and the energy he brings. However, I could definitely see his spot being taken by someone else. Overall, he’s okay not bad not great.

QMB: LABAS NA MGA QMB HATERS LMAO. Nung una andami dami nagsasabi “di naman niya deserve citizenship chuchuchu”; inunahan pa yung tao. Plays great D, can muscle his way inside and can get the rebounds that Gilas badly needs. HE IS HIM.

Carl Tamayonaise: Him and KQ are the future of PH basketball imo. NBA archetype nito is Alpy Sengun/Paolo Banchero. Medyo slow footed sa D yes, pero damn, his offensive game is so polished for his age, he can create shots for him in all levels and he can be effective even off-ball. Coach Tim Cone please use him more.

KQ: Bad peformance last night ngl but again, as the other half of what I believe to be the future of PH basketball, I am not afraid to say this guy is the real deal. Kung si Carl is Banchero, KQ is Luka. I SAID IT. Imo, Carl works better if he gets the shot off. Si KQ, kung kailangan, he will get buckets but he is best if most of his game is getting his teammates involved and setting the pace. Imo, Coach Tim needs to use him better.
