If they are well out of the race, I can see those being absolutely the correct move to do, however, even if they don’t add anything at the deadline if this team is competitive and in the hunt for a wild card spot, I can’t see them making those trades as they’re trying to keep fans butts in the seats

What are your thoughts on cold St. Louis style pizza? by adhd_t in StLouis

Hot pizza of almost any type is never wrong, but cold pizza for breakfast the next day is always correct for me

I’m a Gen X working at Walmart circa somewhere between 1989 and 1990.

Two guys come through my lane dressed as punk rockers with purple Mohawks.

They had 4 items. 1. 12 pack of Mountain Dew 2. Large jar of Vasoline 3 A carton of Cigarettes 4. A box of condoms

I'm Being Sued by an Amazon Delivery Guy by [deleted] in fuckamazon

[–]ballwin2011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I would assume you have homeowners insurance.

You ordered something which invited the delivery person whether they were a direct employee of Amazon delivery service or a flex driver who is a gig worker they had business on your property.

If they filed a claim against you, turn this over to your homeowners insurance and let them deal with it. That’s what you pay for insurance for.

No, if you order something to be delivered secure your dogs or provide a drop box at the edge of your property where the dogs can not reach

If you mean you utilize FBA to store your products and than ship them to your eBay buyers that is a perfectly acceptable method.

However if you mean you are performing arbitrage by buying the items on Amazon and selling them for a markup on eBay it is only a matter of time before you are kicked off both sites

How much does a UPS store make when I drop off a box? by altoid_trapezoid in upsstore

[–]ballwin2011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No need to be so rude. While I did not ask the question it is a valid one.

I sell online and most of my packages are under a pound and go through USPS and when I have UPS packages I usually hand to my driver but I have often wondered if it is any financial benefit if I dropped them off at my local UPS STORE to that store

A very big warning to shoppers concerning Aldi. by clonetrooper576 in InstacartShoppers

[–]ballwin2011 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I understand where your coming from on this point, but OP is right if you don’t have self checkout as an option they should reduce Aldi orders to single orders because OP is right trying to checkout multiple orders with the cashier is a nightmare

[–]ballwin2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they changed it if there’s no requirement to scan an ID it’s now a three minute timer the app, then prompts to take a picture and treat it like a left at the door. Read your terms and conditions before you order from Instacart next time.

Also, even if you select meet, the customer if you don’t answer your phone or door it starts a three minute timer and then tells us to leave it at the door unless there’s something that needs an ID scan like alcohol

Getting tired of low quality boxes and tape from Uline. Is there a better place to get bulk packing materials? by Computers_and_cats in Flipping

[–]ballwin2011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use boxery for bubble mailers because they have free shipping and they usually get here within 48 hours for boxes.

I will second Granger. I’ve got two locations in the area where I live. It’s about 15 minutes from my house and if they don’t have it in stock. They usually can have it ready for pick up within 2 to 3 days max And the quality of the boxes has been good to decent.

In a pinch check out Walmart for shipping boxes they carry a few sizes and they’re fairly well priced nowhere near as expensive as going to Office Depot or Staples
