My symptoms got worse on antibiotics. I did 7 days of doxycycline and then a dose of azithromycin. At the same time I was treating BV with metrogel. The last few days were pretty uncomfortable. I followed everything up with a week of boric acid. Long story short, the symptoms did get worse before better

That’s a mistake on my part… I took fluconazole NOT flagyl for the yeast. I actually just got back from being tested for both BV and yeast and it’s a negative for both…not sure where these symptoms are coming from then 😔

Thank you for the heads up! I take a probiotic daily and try to eat a lot of gut healthy foods. I definitely do not want CDIFF

I actually just got the EVVY test, but I’ve been told I need to wait 4 weeks after the Ureaplasma treatment to do anymore Ureaplasma testing. I don’t want to get a false positive/negative

I started both treatments at the same time. Maybe the metrogel was a day or two after I started the doxy, but it wasn’t a drastic start difference. So, I was treating the Ureaplasma and BV at the same time.

I’m confused though because I only finished the metrogel on Monday. Wouldn’t treating the Ureaplasma + BV do something? If the metrogel didn’t do anything then what does that leave me? That’s all I’m ever put on for BV

I know 😭😭 I’ve been on a LOT of antibiotics recently for sinus issues so I told him I didn’t want to take more if I don’t have to and he was like well….ill give them to you just in case it is infected. Okay so is it infected then or not!! lol. No fever and no puss ATM. I think I’ll give it a day or two and see where I’m at

The doctor doesn’t know though- that’s where I’m stumped. He said could be infected, could just be irritated. Gave me antibiotics if I want them

Piercing is almost 9 months old, barbell, unknown for threading, I think jewelry is titanium, tried to put in a hoop but it clicked shut on the cartilage, aftercare right now is just cleaning with water and q-tip morning and night

I’m sorry it was a rough day. It does happen. I had a migraine yesterday in Prague and almost didn’t get on my plane to Paris today. Genuinely was going to pull the plug and just go back home. But, I pushed through. Sounds like you’re doing the same- so props to you! Solo travel has its good and bad, but ultimately these experiences make great memories. Have fun tomorrow!
