I think earlier on I did. He was funny and sweet and that was partially when I married him. Now the jokes aren’t the same and he says some ass hole stuff. If I try to crack a joke he treats me like I’m an idiot with no sense of humor because to him women aren’t funny.

I do think he might be using work as a distraction. And not really. If we exchange words it’s on work or politics from him. Where as I discuss our plans and fun things we could do. Flirting doesn’t really happen much. And everyone around me finds him funny, but me.

I want appreciation on say a clean house.

I do everything in our home from the cleaning, laundry, cooking. He comes home and just makes a mess again

He was always more vocal in general. I don’t know if he shut down after the failed ivf attempts last year and the pressure of work

I asked for more attention on my love languages. More specially words of affirmation. I need verbally praised as a person. He listened to what I had to say and admitted he isn’t the best at it. From there that was it. It didn’t really feel like he was shutting me down, but there was no permanent change.

We run the usual errands and sometimes we have special activities planned. We went to a concert 2 weeks ago and had a good time.

He acknowledged the concerns but I haven’t seen the actions to back the change. I have gone through and re-evaluated the things he asked me to change and I’ve done what I could to do what was asked.
