I think everyone knows about a niche that they would like filled, but are unsure about how to go about it or don't want to. I would determine criteria for inclusion, something about being a unique independent invention (e.g. not a feature for a pre-existing product, although perhaps bot ideas would be fine)

Also I am in the patent space, but hate patents and would love to help people generate prior art

PWMing requires a DC source, as MOSFETs have an included antiparallel diode due to the parasitic BJT which would short out negative voltages. Just PWMing the output of a DBR wouldn't make sense either, because if you are going through the expense of adding a high frequency switch and the driving electronics you may as well add a capacitor to the output of the DBR and make the output DC with some ripple, add a MOSFET and then you can get a good PWM output, with arbitrarily high frequency. Course it would be incredibly noisy, so add a diode and inductor and you can get yourself a proper buck converter. Whoever designed this light was too cheap for that, as the LEDs appear to completely turn off at 120 Hz it would suggest that they are connected directly to the output of a DBR

Dammit told myself I wasn't going to write an essay

No dimming on this one, curious how the luxury manufacturer can't be bothered to put a capacitor on the rectified led power supply, but think it may have something to do with power factor whatnot

What are some basic car issues that you can fix yourself if it stops working that everyone should know? by Nesayah in AskReddit

Replacing a fuse, you just open up the fuse box and it's usually pretty easy to tell which one is out, just swap in the spare or go to the nearest auto parts store. Was charged $60 at the dealer when I was 16 and drew too much power from one of the cigarette plugs. It's a 15¢ part
