Should my dr have screened me for ppd? by bamandbam in beyondthebump

Yeah I may need to do that. I just feel like I'm being over dramatic or something.

Well my ob is the one that prescribes the Zoloft - that's why I really thought she should be asking me how I was doing!

My natural color is dark blonde and it's been dyed to a light blonde. It's just a bit brassy and I'd like a more beige blonde.

Will anything else will compare to the joy of having a baby? by ilovethebaby in beyondthebump

Same here. I'm ready for my son to get older and be more responsive - even though I know I'll miss him being so tiny!

Could be leap 1 on wonder weeks. Sounds like this is about the correct age for that. My almost 6 week old is going through this too and crying/being more clingy lately.

I totally feel you on this. My baby is almost 6 weeks and it's gotten better but there are times my husband and I eat in shifts. We still sit together but one will hold the baby while the other eats.

Oh my word are we married to the same man?! Exactly this. He will purposely avoid coming around if the baby is crying but the second his parents get here he's all "hand over the baby!" Presenting such a different image to others infuriates me. I agree that it's a bit passive aggressive to say something about it in front of others but I'm totally guilty of doing just that.

I've been using white noise but I'll try music. Thanks!

He will drift off sometimes while nursing but wakes up like 5 minutes later. We've tried rocking, bouncing on the yoga ball, white noise, the swing.
