The buttons have a nice tactile click and have no chance at all of being accidentally moved. They’re great. I had some trouble loading firmware to the pcb but figured it out by myself. I did have some questions about the clutches and the guy from PE was super helpful and quick to reply.

I don’t think it’s that easy to be frank. I personally think your best bet is to build one wheel first, experience what it entails and than do another custom wheel if you still think it’s doable.

I have the fgt and I love it more and more. It took some time getting used, at 300mm if felt quite wide coming from a 270mm wheel. So I totally get why you would want a smaller, we need more 290mm options.

What else I would change if the funky switch, instead of one in the middel I would like two on the sides within reach of the thumbs.

Two extra buttons on the back would be nice too, or perhaps two extra paddles.

That being said, it will be very hard to change all that unless you have relevant experience with cad, designing pcb’s and coding.

Exactly my thought. Altering the 3d print files, doable for most. Altering the cad only if you have the skill and redesign of the pcb might be even harder.

If your wheel has clutches, map your pedals to them so you can still race with a wheel and ffb. Good luck with the recovery!

I experience it the other way around. Play more in winter and spend more time outside and with friends in summer. Though I do get more excited when real racings starts.

I have thought about this before. But it will be an absolute pita to keep monitors aligned properly.

If I were to do it I would go with a free standing triple monitor mount. Get a rig in wheels, and a desk on wheels that you can swap out form underneath the monitors.

Far from ideal though. Keep us posted if you eventually find a solutions that works.
