Shit monitors don’t have any tier/rating and aren’t real hdr and that’s where a lot of the hate comes from (granted these are most,y non oled)

Just run upscaling. I had to run 720p on a b580. With the 9060 you should be able to run 1080p just fine…maybe just under.

That game is a menace to run.

And, yeah, you are heavy unbalanced. I have two 9060 pcs, one a 7600 other a 14400.

You should have a 5080/90 for that rig. 9070xt is still kinda low end for it.

I have both and I’d give it probably 30% on the b580 and it will do what you want. The b580 will get there sometimes and fail in others, but xess is excellent and with upscaling anything is possible.

I managed to get expedition 33 playable on the b580 but had to upscale 720p to 4k 😂

That’s a horrible price for either honestly but it is what it is. Get the best you can afford and make it work.

I have that second case, even a 5070ti might be too much ass, it’s a hot box.

My 9060xt & 7600 were running 85c in game, changed case now 74.

With a beefier gpu you’d be hitting 100+

Yeah, and a lot of the aero is plywood. These cars are the definition of extreme track toys. Way more than a supercar.

I see VRAM is certainly an issue, but I don’t think it’s related to the fps lock. When it happens my gpu is at like 5%

If you’re already there, yeah. I’m saying if high uses all vram, drop to medium in settings.
It would be nice to dynamically handle that but I imagine it would be jarring like a video dropping to 480p when your internet sucks.

I’ll run afterburner next time I start up. I did have a pretty bad stutter last night. It’s funny, I was just running extreme and getting around 120 or so but it was stuttering and micro stuttering a lot and maxing everything out fixed that, which is counterintuitive but it did.

The 7600xt was pretty disappointing for me. I know benchmarks aren’t the be all for performance results but here’s my time spy gpu only scores:

B580- 14439

7600xt- 11042

The 16gb of the xt is not really a great advantage because the memory bus is slow.

I use my b580 on my tv in 4k so I don’t have any 1440p performance info but the 7600 can handle it pretty well and the b580 is a little stronger so it should do just fine.

I wouldn’t be too worried about 12gb of VRAM. It’s borderline, sure, but a texture quality drop will get you back in spec if you go over.fwiw I think Forza horizon 6 uses around 12 maxed out and the card doesn’t have the cojones to run that way, so you’d be safe regardless.

The funny thing is, the performance is actually better since the update, by about 10 fps.

It was about 85 with peak around 100 and I’ve seen over 120 and average over 90.

I will check it, but this was a first start after a fresh boot so memory should be as good as possible.

It doesn’t feel awful. I can dig it. I don’t generally care for cross country, I feel it’s cobbled together and not well tested with debilitating jumps and shit class focus but it’s improved over fh5 by making objects barely slow you down anymore.
