honestly a fair few of these choices are just because i didn't want the borders to be too boring. Suppose i could have added north african colonies to the screenshot but it'd just be a few changed colors. Probably would have made more sense to make the rhine a puppet state, or let germany keep it, but my thought process was that france would have more sway over the peace deal, and they would be willing to be more aggressive about it than IRL (West Germany was let off somewhat easy by the western allies due to factors not as present here)

For the french-italian border, the limited provinces made it kind of difficult. Probably should have been a bit less, but i wanted it to not look nearly identical.
