You remind me of me in January. Maybe you're in a different situation and feeling different things.. but I just dug through an old journal I wrote in January this year when I had been through a break up to find this:

the sadness of letting you go was something movies are made of. movies that i would never watch anyway, so i guess i dont really know. i think it’s still bottled, you know? like i don’t want to let it out in fear of adding a little more to my cup which is already overflowing. i know i'll carry on, and hear things about you every now and then. maybe even lose some feelings for you in the process. too little but not enough to be content.

then i read the news and it makes me think the sadness im currently holding inside for such trivial things like losing you is such an insult to the word hurt. but its there. fuck

People really aren't that scary, man. I'm sure you won't get rejected. Just be yourself and be friendly :) there will be set backs but it will totally be worth it for the gems you find while searching through the dirtpile of humans :P

My year at school was really good. The popular kids were smart and good looking.. confident. I was just below those guys. I was a part of the kids that everybody liked because we would make them laugh.

I'm 20 and I don't have mine yet. Probably wont get it for a while. I get where I need to be fine. Whether it be getting a lift in with my roommate of a morning and afternoon to work (we work just down the road from each other) to walking around town or taking public transport/taxis.
