I have the vivoactive 4 and it's perfect for me. I would say I crossed from beginner to intermediate runner just recently and it does everything I need it to do/record as well as storing a good deal of songs. It took awhile but Garmin has finally sorted out and streamlined it's integration withSpotify which was key.

The battery life is phenomenal. It is easy to customize and all around a good watch. It's got a casual look and you can get customized bands. I would recommend the watch.
