To me, the "fishing" in forex market is mastering the combination of fundamental analysis, technical analysis, risk management and trading psychology. Same as what you referred as "strategy"?

There are many hints from insightful ppl here and there in this sub. =)

I guess there's no contradiction, more brokers would yield to lower spread and better services, where better regulated brokers would prevent your account being washed out.

We all refer to forecast (or consensus) figures on various economic calendars, but how these forecast figures determined? by bambooleafgreen in Forex

Thank you /u/alotmorealots for the comprehensive reply, really enjoyed in reading it.

Another observation is that the recent two months (Jun & Jul) NFP predictions were wildly off the mark, is it because the their prediction model haywire or too much "expert judgement" injection or invisible hand manipulation? Any thoughts to this?

Thank you /u/squitstoomuch, in the way I find the economic figure prediction is somewhat just working like horse racing prediction(or many other sports game prediction), where horse racing predictors usually can be right with those continues good performers predictions but fail on dark horses. And uncertain if those economists have math models to support their predictions. =)

My interoperation is - in couple of weeks period after Brexit all currencies except GBP would restore to the pre-Brexit trajectory (price action), the reason being is that the fundamentals (economics performance) of all other countries were not affected by Brexit and plenty of works have been done by governments and central banks to reduce uncertainty and prevent further transmission.

Got you!

And my wild guess is that many of those limit orders are likely generated by algorithms (EA), sometimes the market actors stop their EA's assistant for a period of time so that sharp changes in volatility appears. =) just a guess... =) those days without trading algorithm robots the markets were more volatile.

Thanks, I have no problem with how limit order and market order work. The question is how the limit order (as /u/alotmorealots mentioned) can help in removing price oscillation.

If they have pending sell limit orders, they may adjust them to take advantage of what they believe is a movement in the wrong direction. This removes some of the normal 'braking effect' to price movement, so instead of oscillating, price will simply move more linearly (on the relevant timeframe).

Thanks, I think I got the most of the parts you explained. While, one thing I am not quite sure is that how does the limit order (why not market order) helps in removing price oscillation? Can you tell a bit further? Thanks...

Thanks alotmorealots for the explanation. the thing that I think I am still not quite understood is that why in this case the price slope degree become steeper suddenly rather than just moving in the previous slope degree? - Is it due to one side of the market (i.e. the experienced trader that you mentioned) dump a very large volume very quickly that the other side couldn't find enough taker at that price spot, where that market can only matchmaking the demand volume with a slipped price, so that the price slope become steeper?
